I love reading great writers … Dickens. Hemingway. Reetz!
Seriously, I’ve been waiting for you to make a new post so I could respond like a true fan and follower. Wish I could respond as a potential client. But, alas, nothing left in my life that could justify that.
I’ve sold my house and moved to a temporary apartment while I try to figure out my next move and achieve the form of total anonymity I’ve long craved (perhaps a trip to Shiprock?). But I regularly check your blog and enjoy it and your graceful stories.
I’m not smart and ambitious like you. Nothing to do but hang around like those cranky, annoying editorial letter-writers and harass my more industrious friends. Kind of like living in a pre-industrial man-cave in the fashion that only a single old retired geezer can accomplish. A lot like re-living days as a dissolute college student. No one else would put up with it.
When I see Steve Sidlo, we of course talk about you and toast the good old days. Keep up the good work and defend the faith!
As always, your devoted old friend – John Thomson
